Mad Max Museum

Mad Max Museum

A museum dedicated to Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior). Filmed around Broken Hill and Silverton (Mundi Mundi Lookout) in 1981.

On display you will find all kinds of memorabilia and props, hundreds of behind the scenes photographs, never before seen footage, life-size characters throughout the museum, and a vehicle display with original and replica vehicles in a setting that really captures the atmosphere of this incredible Australian movie. A movie that raised the bar for action films that followed.

Please contact us about our holiday closing times such as Christmas and our summer break during low tourist season. We advise that anyone making a special trip to visit the museum should contact us in advance. Souvenirs for sale.
